Vivid Glo was created with a vision in finding the best priced, long lasting LED lighbulb for homes with existing MR 16 & GU10 downlights.

Frustrated with the amount of rubbish LEDs on the market, we decided to investigate ourselves.

We spent years of testing and research from a number of world leading and boutique manufacturers and finally found the right light. 

​

Before we put these bulbs on the market, we real life tested these bulbs for a minimum of 2 years at a running time of 16 hours per day....this equates to over 10,000 hours. We found no degradation during this period so we thought...great! 

​

The lab tests of these bulbs say up to 25,000 hours life.

 

We can say as of 2026, our real lift testing on the same bulbs 3 out of 4 of the bulbs are still going strong for over 10 years.

 

As you know most LED bulbs bought from supermarkets generally last up to 1 year and would be lucky to have lasted any more than 5,000 hours total which in some cases worse than the old incandescent lights.

Vivid Glo lights also have a high CRI 90+ which the quality of light comparable to sunlight.

60 degree beam angle of light covers more area compared to a lot of other bulbs on the market that are only 35 - 40.

Due to the LED Light saturation in the market and most people have taken up energy schemes to replace their old halogen lights, we only have a limited amount available remaining.

The pricing of these bulbs you will never see anywhere for the quality.

Please note: 

The GU10 will operate with any compatible 220 - 240v light fitting

The MR16 will only operate on 12v LED drivers. They can operate on some old style transformers but the lifespan will greatly reduce.
